About the Role

As a member of Catalyst’s marketing team, the Senior Field Marketing Manager will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and be central to developing a field marketing strategy that will deliver programs which provide the sales organisation with opportunities to engage with clients and prospective clients of Catalyst.

The Senior Field Marketing Manager will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and reporting on all field marketing activity for Catalyst, as well as our software arm, obi. The initial focus for this role will be on the UK and Irish markets but that will extend to other markets in the EU as new offices in Milan and Barcelona grow and other offices are opened.

What You Will Do

Strategic Responsibility

  • Support the field-based sales team to generate and accelerate pipeline through the delivery of field marketing programs which use a range of channels such as events (owned, industry, executive), media, partnerships to reach and engage with prospective clients.

 

Operational Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Sales to drive the strategy, planning, execution, and success of our field marketing programs.
  • Build and manage a calendar of field-based activity in partnership with the sales team.
  • Own end-to-end logistics for events, including in person and virtual, including sourcing venues executing the contract, managing the budget, and ensuring the event is executed flawlessly.
  • Build pre-event promotions, own field enablement, and registration tracking to ensure regional programs hit registration and pipeline goals.
  • Objectively evaluate the ROI on programs and adjust tactics to drive true revenue results for the company.
  • Act as the intermediary between the marketing and field sales teams to ensure alignment and understanding of programs, goals, and outcomes.
  • Work with other members of the marketing team to align field-based activity with campaigns and on-going marketing activity.
What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a marketing role where there was significant exposure to working with sales, focusing on specific regions, and running a wide range of channels/tactics.
  • Experience and high comfort level communicating with various stakeholders across marketing, sales, customer success, product, executive leadership, and our customers.
  • Experience in creating and implementing successful events and programs that generate high value, and high intent leads.
