About the Role

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Chief Financial Officer will report directly to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall financial management of the company. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all finance-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor/banking relationships.

What You Will Do

Strategic responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate the short and long-term strategic financial plans that support the growth of the business
  • Oversee the growth of our SaaS business, obi®️, including managing our funding needs and developing our finance technology stack
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and financial strategic planning process
  • Partner with the CEO and ELT to drive business growth and achieve financial objectives

 

Operational responsibilities

  • Manage investor and banking relationships of the company
  • Manage the management accounting and KPI tracking activities of the company
  • Manage the finance team and provide leadership, coaching and development to team members
  • Work with relevant colleagues on job costing to ensure correct pricing of our services
  • Work with the CEO and other relevant ELT members on deal analysis and negotiations
  • Work with Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Commercial Officer to set and track SaaS-specific metrics including CAC, and LVC.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of finance leadership experience in a high-growth, technology-focused environment
  • Strong experience in SaaS and/or tech businesses
  • Strong experience in corporate finance, fundraising, and financial modelling
