Senior Quality Inspector (Ireland & UK)

Role Overview

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Quality Inspector to join our Technical Advisory Services team based in Dublin, London or South East England.

In this role, you will take on a variety of responsibilities across a diverse range of projects, including , you will contribute to raising standards and fostering a culture of compliance within the construction industry—delivering lasting benefits to all industry stakeholders.

The ideal person will ideally come from a trade-related background, carpentry or similar with an excellent general knowledge of construction methodologies, detailing and construction quality standards.

Experience of carrying out quality inspections would be beneficial, but construction delivery experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as the individual lead on multiple projects, they take on an externally facing role, collaborating with project stakeholders such as clients, designers and builders, advancing Catalyst’s mission to raise standards and drive compliance in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out on site quality inspections
• Carrying out quality monitoring/Clerk of Works inspections  
• Snagging and de-snagging inspections
• Attending site & client meetings as needed
• Reporting to clients on progress of inspection and snagging processes
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with building owners, project managers, builders, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to the Catalyst Quality processes
• Supporting colleagues by sharing specific expertise and lessons learned  
• Travel to other UK cities for project work
• Occasional travel to Ireland

Mandatory Requirements/Experiences

• Have a trade related background and applicants are members of the ICWCI.  
• Demonstrated experience in construction in chosen trade
• Be proficient in the use of IT (laptop/mobile devices)
• Exhibit a genuine passion for enhancing quality within the construction industry.  
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in teams while driving high performance.
• Capable of self-management and leading initiatives without the need for close supervision
• Hold authorization to work in the UK
