Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Architect to join our growing Technical Advisory and Project Monitoring team. This role offers the opportunity to work on major development projects across Ireland and Europe, playing a key part in shaping urban environments and supporting high- profile clients in both the public and private sectors.
Reporting to the Head of Technical Advisory & Project Monitoring, the successful candidate will take ownership of multiple technical due diligence and monitoring projects, ensuring quality, risk management, and client satisfaction at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate technical advisory and project monitoring assignments from inception to completion.
- Undertake technical reviews of design and construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contract packages.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed technical reports highlighting risks, issues, and recommendations.
- Liaise with clients, project stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of projects.
- Monitor project timelines, quality standards, and compliance with planning, building regulations, and health & safety legislation.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Essential
- Minimum of seven years post-qualification experience as an Architect or a similar role in the built environment.
- Demonstrable experience in project monitoring or technical advisory services is a distinct advantage.
- Strong understanding of property development life cycles and business models. Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
Desirable
- Experience working within or alongside asset management or development companies. Familiarity with institutional standards and requirements for property investment and funding. Proficiency in design and project management software.
