Purpose of Role
To identify key opportunities for Catalyst across specific markets and industries, developing strong client relationships and proactively creating quality opportunities for Catalyst colleagues. Provide research and prospecting support for senior sales team and organisation’s senior management. In return we offer a career development pathway to senior sales roles and Business Development Director. This role reports into the Chief Revenue Officer.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Understand Catalyst’s product and service offering to the market, prospective clients and target markets;
- Data mine CRM system, event participants and publicly available databases to prepare prospecting lists in line with Catalyst sales targets;
- Complete prospect segmentation and analysis;
- Carry out prospect company research using online research tools such as social media platforms, AI tools, Google Alerts, and LinkedIn;
- Qualify prospects and tailor email communication specific to prospects to introduce the client and the relevance of Catalyst to their business;
- Follow up on prospect contact and set up well-qualified meetings for self and sales team colleagues, agreeing an agenda for the call;
- Complete briefing document for the Catalyst Account Executive and/or senior management colleagues;
- Update CRM and data management on all prospecting activity;
- Complete monthly client reporting and KPI reporting;
- Deliver high-energy activity levels to achieve monthly and quarterly KPIs;
- Carry out market analysis at the request of the Account Executive, Chief Revenue Officer or senior management colleagues;
- Other Duties may include: competitor product analysis; Email marketing campaigns; Event attendance (including travel).
Requirements
- Degree or relevant third- level qualification (e.g. Marketing, Business, English, languages)
- 1 year of sales experience;
- Experience of working within a team to achieve goals;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Experience in conducting company/ market research;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (or equivalent);
- Eligibility to work in the EU;
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in B2B sales;
- Report writing for business use;
- Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Hubspot, SalesForce or similar);
- Language skills (business level proficiency).
Remuneration & Benefits:
- €24,000 p.a. starting salary, increasing to up to €26,000 p.a. upon satisfactory completion of probation period;
- Eligibility for annual achievable €10,000 bonus based on performance, paid on a quarterly basis;
